England cricket star and Riverside Capital ambassador, Jason Roy, has achieved his maiden ODI 100, making a major contribution to the team’s 3–1 ODI series win against Pakistan. Following on from this success, the England team continued its outstanding form, going on to win the T20 International series yesterday 3-0.
His signature game was played on Friday 20th November, when England flourished to triumph over Pakistan in the series finale. Vigorous stroke-play from Jason and his teammate, Joss Buttler, led the two players to go on to score two outstanding centuries, making a major contribution to the team’s eventual victory.
Once he had laid the foundations, Pakistan failed to reach the huge target achieved by the England opening batsmen, and the team went on to win the match by 84 runs.
Speaking about his success, Jason said: “It was amazing, a truly surreal feeling. It’s something that I’ve been working for my whole career”.
