Riverside Capital buy Travis Perkins sale and leaseback portfolio for £32.25m

Riverside Capital has acquired a portfolio of 19 properties let to Travis Perkins in a £32.25m transaction. The investment comprises 19 trade units located around the UK.

This is the second portfolio of properties tenanted by FTSE-100 Company, Travis Perkins that Riverside Capital has delivered to investors, after acquiring a portfolio of 35 trade park units in a £33.4m deal last year.

Riverside Capital, UK commercial property specialists, are offering regular, stable commercial property investments to investors around the globe.

Andy Taylor, Director at Riverside Capital comments, “We are delighted to work again with this tenant to secure the off-market investment. This is an attractively priced, well-let, geographically diverse portfolio which has rental growth built-in and which is underpinned by strong fundamentals.”

Martin Meech, Group Property Director at Travis Perkins adds, “The sale of this portfolio is in line with Travis Perkins’ strategy of recycling its real estate assets but the structure of this particular transaction has allowed us to retain an equity stake in the properties.”
